The hotel experience was enjoyable while we explored San Antonio's attractions. I loved the charming Spanish Colonial decor, which added a beautiful touch to the atmosphere. The location was perfect, as we could easily walk to various sites, giving us plenty of time to soak in the local culture. However, the temperature in our room was a bit tricky to manage, and the maid service could have been more thorough during our stay.

The hotel boasts charming Spanish Colonial decor paired with a stunning open-air courtyard, creating a tranquil atmosphere to kick back and unwind. Its prime location grants easy access to various attractions, including shopping, dining, and the Alamo, making it an ideal base for exploration.
The bathroom, while clean, felt cramped, and the shower didn’t quite allow for much comfort. Some amenities seemed aimed at upselling, like the multiple emails promoting room upgrades and the $53 valet parking, which adds to the overall cost. Additionally, the lack of complimentary refreshments in the room and the $45 late checkout felt like a way to nickel and dime guests, which could be off-putting for some travelers.

I absolutely loved the charming Spanish Colonial and Modern Mediterranean decor of Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. The beautiful open-air European-style courtyard was especially delightful, allowing for easy accessibility and relaxation, which is perfect for seniors like myself.
More accessible seating in dining areas would be ideal.

The Valencia Riverwalk provided a wonderful stay for my business trip. The check-in process was incredibly efficient, and my room was spacious, clean, and invited a peaceful atmosphere conducive to work. The staff was notably professional, assisting me with all my needs promptly. The location was perfect, just a short walk from key business areas, making it convenient for meetings. I also appreciated the availability of complimentary coffee and pastries in the lobby, which set a great tone for my mornings.
Limited dining options in the hotel.

missingWrote a review on Oct 28spacious roompeaceful courtyardpicturesque outlookfrustrating check-in
Enjoyed the spacious King Room with City View that offered a picturesque outlook without the bustle of the busy riverwalk. The unique architectural charm sets a relaxing atmosphere, amplified by the peaceful courtyard that invites you to unwind.
Checking in felt like a scene out of a malfunctioning droid factory—too long and frustrating for what should be a straightforward task. Valet parking was a no-go for larger trucks, which left me scrambling for alternate parking solutions in an already busy area. Also, the limited cable channels made evening downtime less enjoyable, and the early checkout knock on the door felt a bit intrusive when there’s still half an hour to spare.

We had a fantastic stay! The dinner buffet was beyond excellent, and the complimentary glass of wine at dinner was such a lovely touch. Our spacious room with a balcony overlooking the river was a dream! I would definitely return, although the bathroom could have been larger.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel could use more family-friendly activities onsite.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The massage at the spa was so relaxing, and I loved unwinding in the garden area after a long day. The room could have used a few more storage options, but overall, it was a fantastic stay for my family. 😊
